Melbourne Hall and Garden
On the 14th August we did something different, we went to Sudbury Prison's Secret Diner for coffee and pastries and a visit to their plant sales which is excellent value. Then headed to the conservation village of Melbourne with the beautiful Georgian Melbourne Hall and immaculate Gardens besides one of the largest Norman parish churches. Read more

Amber Vineyard Tour and Tasting

Explore Lichfield
27th April 2023 We went to explore Lichfield with the only medieval three-spired cathedral in the UK with 1300 years of history. We could choose between Herkenrode Glass regarded as one of Europe’s greatest artistic treasures saved from destruction during the Napoleonic Wars and the Lichfield Angel, an early medieval sculpture found under the Nave.
