Group Activity
Our name says it all! Our abilities range from beginners to advanced. We help each other to understand patterns and we show each other new techniques.
Over the past few years we have knitted items for sale raising money for various charities; hats and blankets to donate for premature babies; tactile muffs for people living with dementia; numerous hats, gloves, and scarves to donate via Warmer Places; bilberry bumblebees for the Friends of Buxton Station’s project and hundreds of flowers and leaves for Buxton Town Team to decorate the Town centre; numerous personal projects for family and friends.
Each Autumn we have a stall at an Inner Wheel Coffee morning
Group Time & Venue
Every Wednesday, 2pm - 4pm, in the lounge of the Lee Wood Hotel, Park Road. (Free parking either in the hotel car park or on Park Road)
We now have vacancies in this group but have had to put a stop on new members for the Tuesday group (Knit and Natter2) as we have reached a maximum number of people who can be comfortably accommodated in the venue. So please contact me if you are interested in knitting. I’d love to hear from you! Click on Kathryn's name above to send a message.
