Carsington Sailability: Summer Taster Sessions & Race Day 17th June
Following their wonderful talk to our group in March, Terry and the team from Carsington Sailability have invited us to join them on the water this summer.
Whether you want a relaxing day out or the excitement of a race, here is how you can get involved:
Try a Free Sailing Taster Session
The open invitation for our group to try a sailing taster session still stands! Now that the summer weather and the water are much warmer, it is the perfect time to give it a go.
Sailing is fantastic for both physical and mental well-being. It connects directly to the "Blue Mind" theory—the idea that being near or on the water naturally relaxes our minds, reduces stress, and brings a sense of peace.
Watch the Hansa TT Race Day: Wednesday, June 17th
If you prefer to stay on dry land and watch some inspiring sport, come along to the Hansa TT Roadshow at Carsington Sailing Club on Wednesday, June 17th.
It is a fantastic opportunity to see some incredible sailors in action. It is a wonderfully social day out, and visitors are highly encouraged to come down, enjoy the atmosphere, and watch the morning preparation turn into an exciting race.
Times for the Day:
Before 10:00 AM: Arrive early to see the boats being prepared. If you get there before 10:00, Terry will be there to personally greet you!
