Here we are in a wonderful bookshop with sofas and cake (what more could you want?) where we had coffee before making our way to Chetham’s Library in Manchester
We were given a fascinating guided tour of Chetham's Library where we saw a most amazing piece of furniture which had been used to house books for lending out to areas all around Manchester. The books were well-chained up in such a fashion that the books could be read without damage and without taking them off the shelf.

Here we are sitting in Chetham Library at the very spot where Marx and Engels worked on “The Communist Manifesto”. We’re trying to look revolutionary.
