With the Womens’ Rugby World Cup starting on Friday 22 August 2025, an appeal was issued for crocheted red roses to decorate England.

Sue Brown organized the Group to crochet red roses to go to Bristol, where they adorned venues and the Wallace statue in the centre of Bristol.
