The Tech Team (or part thereof) are available before and after each monthly meeting to help with your tech questions - if they can. This is them at their first appearance in February 2025

There are four u3a members who have volunteered to be part of the Tech Team. This is how it works.

  1. The Tech Table will be available in the Buxton Methodist Hall at the beginning (9:30 to 10am) and end (11:30 to 12 noon) of each monthly meeting from February 2025.  Note that monthly meetings are not held in August or December.
  2. A minimum of one Tech Team volunteer per meeting will be available.
  3. The volunteer will be there to listen to any tech-related query posed by any u3a member.
  4. The volunteer will help if they can but will have access to other members of the team – this help or advice could be sought outside the meeting.
  5. Team members will be in the role of ‘helpful friend’ rather than 'expert'.
  6. Help will be given in good faith.  No guarantees can be given
  7. Information on queries will be kept in order to track progress of the scheme. Personal information of enquirers will not be kept.
