Why come along to our crochet group?
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or have never even picked up a hook, there’s always a spare chair waiting for you. We asked our regulars what keeps them coming back week after week, and it turns out it’s about a lot more than just the yarn.
Great company and a proper laugh!
Above all, the group is a brilliant excuse to get out and connect. It’s a warm, welcoming space where the "company is fantastic" and there's always "lots of fun" to be had. As one member put it, "I always enjoy the company whilst trying to produce something."
A Helping hand when you're stuck
If you've dropped a stitch or can’t quite make sense of a tricky pattern, you don’t have to struggle on your own. There is a real "wealth of experience" in the room, and everyone is happy to pitch in. You can always count on "friendliness and help from the group" to get things sorted.
Fresh ideas and inspiration
There’s nothing like seeing what everyone else is working on to get your own creative juices flowing. Our sessions are brilliant for "sharing ideas"—you'll always leave with a bit of fresh inspiration for your next project.
A chance to unwind
Away from the busy rush of the week, the "social side and friendly group" offers a lovely chance to slow down. Many of our regulars find that settling down with a project in a supportive room is simply "meditative and relaxing."

Fancy joining us? Whether you’re here to tackle a complicated blanket, chat over a project, or just enjoy the social side, you’d be very welcome. Bring along whatever you’re working on and come say hello!
